    Oh, and BTW......

Look what I found on my door step when I came home :yay:

Then I realized I only recieved two of the three packages. Tracking says one of the barcode labels was unreadable in Hutchins TX so it was replaced. I hope it finds its way here:goingcrazy:

That's what I did. I had ordered two days before the deal was going on but I called and they hooked me up anyways. Real good people there at ECGS.

If still an issue let me know, I drove through Hutchins a day or two out of the week. The wiring harness is awesome and super easy. I'll send a pic of my compressor tomorrow.

Didn't make it to the dealership in time before the parts center closed today. Looks like RTV for me.

Oh and I received the third package on Friday!

Small hole in the side of the box, should be okay.

So this is where I'm at. Gears are in, front and rear. The front wasn't as bad as I thought but did break off the breather nipple on the electric actuator. Not really a big deal in my book but it is there for a reason, right :notsure:

In the process of putting everything back together, I found out that one of the d/s front spindle threads that the brake caliper attaches to were fubared! Could not fix it by casing the threads so I ordered a Helicoil repair kit. Got the kit in and found out it is all for course threads. Got 5 different sizes but the one I needed is M12x1.25 and I recieved M12x1.75
:annoyed: Reordered the correct one and will not be here until Monday.

Didn't take near as many pics on the front, sorry guys...

So the new gear oil is in the rear. Driving at 65, my rpms are at 2375. I dont get the breakdown that @stairgod gave me. The engine is not working as hard to turn the tires/extra weight. How will it result in 5% better MPGs? if the RPMs are higher?

Higher room does not necessarily equate to worse mileage. A tad higher room than stock helps negate the extra rolling resistance from the larger tires. You will never get the mileage you did while running stock size tires, but it will be better than it was with 33s and stock gearing. Your rpms were low before, effectively lugging the engine, so it was less effecient. Comprende?

My mileage tanked with 295s. But was never great to begin with. Guess I need to slow down.
