Just Wiki'd the Hemingway..cute cats. Some Maine coons aren't polydactyl..my Rosie isn't. Looks like it is most rare for all 4 feet to be..and most on record is 28 toes, Precious had 24.

Wiki also mentions a strain of polys in Boston

 

Boston? Interesting! I love seeing them all over KW. Along with the chickens... I'm sure by now all the cats there are related so the Poly is in all their DNA.

 

Awe I didn't realize he was a cat person, but the pics on Google Image are adorable. It would be cool to have of the descendants.

I have a mainecoon, but he has normal paws. Though I know for a fact he's not pure breed because I have his mother too. Still and adorable little shit.

 

I watched it, and I'm glad I recorded it because I was able to FAST FOWARD thru a lot of it.

Way way too much time was spent on those three Bozos instead of on the trucks. The food was disgusting and how stupid was the part of them buying suits, and getting cleaned up.

I shoulda known from the Arctic Episode that I watched awhile back that it wasn't going to be very well done.

They seemed to be trying to copy the BBC Top Gear style but FAILED MISERABLY.

Not necessarily. Some are breeding it out. There are some cat shows that will disqualify polydactyls.

My Rosie is purebred with regular paws..tricolor. Oddly Precious was part coon and he had all the extra toes

Yup. While I wouldn't use physical punishments if I had kids, I firmly agree lack of overall discipline is too common. Everyone wants to be their kids' bestie and not their parent. Even today my father will still remind me he's always gonna be my father till one of us dies and that I'm never too old to go over his knee and get my ass whacked if it needs doing.
