Thinking of scuffing the steps and hitting them with bed liner. They stand out too much now with the darker wheels. Any recommendations? I'm just worried they may peel too easy.

I just picked up a can of that rustoleum bed liner. Didn't think of the self etching primer. Think I'll try that.

    Thanks

If you run the OME Dakar pack without the long overload would I be ok with the stock rear brake lines and the stock length 5100's or do those need to change?

Took the kid out for a 300 mile drive and picked up a cap. Finally!
She's not perfect but it will do.. not bad for $240
Definitely needs some cleaning, paint, and gotta get the lights fixed. Now we wait for nice weather. :)

Last thing I did was an impromptu 9 hour drive to Daytona Speedway last month. Blew the kid's mind when he opened his eyes at 2am to find we were smack dab in the middle of Daytona Speedway. Gave it some nice new synthetic oil and a filter upon return:

Just curious..... how many coats of the bed liner did it take for good coverage? I've used the Duplicolor on my nephew's sliders and it seemed like it took 5-6 coats to look good.

Every time I do something to the truck, I have a renewed reverence and respect for those of you who post tutorials.
Between the cursing and the kids running around and the "yeah, I'm gonna need another beer", I can barely struggle through what I'm doing let alone take pictures and write something up.
I sure do appreciate you guys, it would take even longer than it does to do most of this stuff without somebody else posting where they went wrong.
In keeping with the thread, today I did some things and this post is worthless because I didn't take pics.

The same shit everyone else has.
I put the Bestop Supertop back on this weekend. I feel like the truck looks better with it on.

    Ordered new HVAC bulbs.

Ordered an OEM style light bar switch.
