I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Okay guys I finally have a shape that I like on the 8.0" diff that is a baseline of all the skids. I'm working on the clamping system this week. As some of you know we are getting a laser cutting system that will be here on Friday so this week is kinda crazy prepping and clearing the shop for a 40 foot machine! I'll try and finish this one up so i can get some pictures posted I'll tell you this it fits snug with no more then .312" of ground clearance loss at the bottom of the diff  All .250 plate for the skin and lighter then the previous version with .750" thick mounting clamps for the axle and pinon clamp. U joint/pinion protection at the front.

Will it also protect the locker motor as well? I currently have the all pro locker motor skid. Was curious if i will need it anymore.

Yes it covers the locker motor as well the other skid will not fit with ours most likely.

Man that Jerry sure does take his sweet ass time, but he finally got a mock up for us third gen lockers... only going to loose 5/16" clearance with 1/4" plate! Went through about a dozen different mock ups but man that fitment is high and tight. Way to go gene!
And before anyone asks, it's just a mock up. So the bottom is the finished shape, not the product. It will have 3/4" clamps on the axel and most likely 1/2" near the drive shaft.

Your a trooper @ATR55 pretty much an 8 hour day with only a beer and cliff bar but I'm very satisfied with the outcome. High and tight to the diff and ultra strong!

Just so don't get a ton of questions the last picture is a final shape of the 8.75" skid but not a production part. Once our laser is up and running in a week or two we will knock these out real quick.

I can't say yes or no they will go quick once we start production. But the only the 8.75 is completely designed at the moment.

This is a very different story we are redesigning the part it's not a production part yet so if you want one you have to wait. We didn't even get enough orders to start designing it until January. We're in the home stretch and I'm not rushing anything for people getting impatient. If I don't like it i start over I have made about 50 over the last few months that I wasn't happy with and just tossed in the scrap bin. As soon as it's fully ready that's when they will be started.
