    still love your skid design.

also..why manual hubs? The CV axles are weaker...

Thanks homie. Love your setup as well. I have peeked more then a few times to get inspiration.

I had heard that, the manual shafts being weaker. I just haven't made up my mind yet between that (what im leaning towards) and a sas d44/9". OR long travel with tundy axle shafts, tundy brakes, taco manual outers, etc etc. I worked a bit for a machine shop that makes cv axle shafts, so I would probably have some made chrmo+cyro'd shafts.

I only seem to use 4x4 when stuck or in a hairy situation which is rare, but when I do, it is mud or Snow. Because of that, I am hoping it wont be to bad. This is a daily drivers above all else and I could really appreciate my front end junk not spinning when on the highway.

I did also get some spare exhaust stuff like headers and cross over tubes, wire harness' and a spare front diff, because, you never know. Also on the hunt for a rear axle housing as mine is tearing at the leaf mounts. Plus I have cromoly axle shafts for a non abs housing. While I COULD make adapters, and fix my axle (again), i see non trd axle housings for 200 bucks on the craigslist. Would probably do a little bit of truss work and the flip. To many ideas, and not enough time. I have all kinds of parts sitting at home just waiting to do something. I picked up the swing out stuff, latches, fuel and water jugs, full size spare, some toyota wheel studs, and some more led lights as well.

having owned an older yota with manual hubs..i ended up just leaving them in all the time.

Especially if you use 4wd for snow. The hubs SUCK ASS to turn when its cold out. Mine also would freeze.

You'd barely see a MPG change swapping them over. Not worth it IMO.

Well that is disappointing. I was also going to gusset the spindles. The other reason (it is silly) was they dont have abs provisions, which I do not have a functioning abs system anyways so planned on ripping that out.

OH YEAH, i got hit 4 times since december 2016.
1st time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvesp94C5gc (Was making a left at next block (NOT THE LIGHT))

2nd time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa2YzudaCoA (Yeah, so what, I tapped him back. Its good for him)

3rd time, no video, just white paint all over my nicely newly powdercoated bumper. Dicks.

4th time https://www.youtube.com/watch?edit=vd&v=hGK5Aj9qkb8 (He tapped me on purpose, called ME the dickhead, then ran)

Decided to wear out the clutch. Ordered an exedy kit, sachs flywheel, and toyota rear main seal and transmission input seal. Going to try and do it one evening after work, maybe friday evening....

Did the clutch, omfg exedy feels nice. DIdnt know the clutch was supposed to be THAT soft. Also replaced the sub rca cable, and tuned up the sub wiring. Trying to figure out an engine plan, I have a spare engine that needs to have exploratory surgery done to it.

Well this sucked quite a bit to do in a parking lot. I am loaded to go camping, over 100 miles from home, and the fuel pump died after I filled up at the pump.

new napa pump and 4 hours later we were back on the road. I am now thinking about putting an access door in the bed for the fuel pump. It will die again, and I am sure when i have just topped off the tank.

Damn dude! That sucks. Those pumps are such a bitch to get to. That access door may not be a bad idea.

I had never dropped a tank, but it was easier then the numerous beds I have lifted. Little bummed its a napa pump, should be ok... and it was all that was available.

Murphys law was against me, filled to the top with camping stuff and a full tank. But with an access door I would of happily unloaded my shit in the BK parking lot rather then drop the tank.

Last night I had a blow out which was nice, then this morning a jackwagon tried to merge into me. He lost.

Tried to replace the clock spring.

Found the cruise control switch wires had broken. So fixed that and also threw a turn signal switch at it as I'm always popping fuses and can't find anything else wrong with it. Intermittent issues are the worst.

Also found the column bearings were tired. So I rebuild the column with new bearings. And a yoke. Also a new bushings for steering shaft to pass through firewall.

Oh and cv's, and diff seals. lol back together now, and it feels fresh.

Reinstalled the two leafs I had pulled out of my expo pack 2 years ago. They are super solid and almost uncomfortable despite camper and tube structure inside camper. Once I get my swing out mounted it will hopefully be better. Already bought everything just need to find the time to do it.
