Yes and it's ugliness is directly proportional to it size...which, as you noted, is massive.

    But where are the PICS!?!?

I was turning thru FRA one time when they had bomb threat. Not overly exciting but damn it went from friendly to guys wearing full military & auto/semi auto arms in about 2 seconds. They put a rope out, strung from one end to the other, of the crowd I was in and started pulling the group away from the windows. I guess cause people getting off the plane wouldn't listen or understand...???

Back at base camp in Florence after a great weekend in Venice! Currently sitting at the dinner table studying negotiable instruments. Something's not right about this

We got to Venice at 10:00 on Saturday and left at 19:00 on Sunday. We had both been before, but it had been a while for me and she went on a dreary day with her parents. Just long enough to see the sights and explore

I loved it, this was my second trip and we've stayed on the main island both times, the first time was by the Accademia and this time we were near the Rialto bridge. Took the boat over to Lido our second day and had a great time at the beach! I'd be happy to send you the information on where we stayed. Both times we rented apartments

Both places we stayed were within a 10-15 minute walk to St. Marks, without the pricing you'd find over there.

This is where we stayed for out weeklong trip, with the family in 2013

And the Airbnb that we stayed in this time. It wasn't extremely upscale or well appointed but it fit our needs
