    Thanks!

No, I think honestly more of an OCD type of thing than anything else, and also I figured — since I paid extra and ordered the strut assembly — that it'd be a whole lot easier to add/ remove a spacer than disassemble and re-assemble the shock/ coil springs/ change circlip setting if for some reason I wasn't happy with how it turned out. Really just personal preference.

Nice I can appreciate that logic lol. I've been waiting to see what the best option was for 3rd gen 6112s were to get dead level on 2wd. Looks like you nailed it perfectly.
Nothing in the back but the 5100s right?

Exactly, just the 5100's in the back. I went back and forth so many times between 2nd notch and 3rd notch decision I can't even tell you, but glad I went with 2nd for sure. If I had to do it over again, would do exactly the same.

Is the light still visible with the tint decal. I got them on the way. But I still want the side markers to be visible to other cars

Yes still visible and I haven't had any issues. Honestly unless you own a Tacoma or see two of them side by side the average person might not notice ... kind of a sneaky, but cool upgrade IMHO.

I just used my hands...they are pretty "heavy duty" as far as decals go so you can backtrack/ peel up a little bit to fix your mistakes. They also added 15 horse power

Did you use the water and soap in a spray bottle method?

No, I just put them on by hand. I cleaned the area off first, but start to finish it maybe took 2-3 mins.

Any chance you fit the wheels and tire before the lift? Wondering if I can fit them under a stock 17 off-road. Your truck looks great

Yeah, I got the wheels and tires mounted and drove around for a few hours before lift. No rubbing at all. The tires/wheels fit no problem before lift / alignment

Looks like you wanted a more moderate lift, assume you could go up another notch in the 6112s and 5100 if you wanted higher, correct?

Yes, you can go up to about 2 inches (depending on the truck you have) according to Bilstein (image attached and my setting highlighted...I went 2nd notch on both sides with a 1/4" spacer on driver's side to level out taco lean).

    4/10/2017:

Spent the weekend snowboarding in Mammoth ... 4 feet of new snow over the weekend and perfect, bluebird conditions on Sunday. Only had to use the LRD once, in the morning after super heavy overnight accumulation of snow, and I have to say that I was really impressed. Didn't think it would be much help, but dug me right out (second pic where I'm totally buried). Yes, I put on the chains. Honestly, no choice and the only smart choice given the conditions. I had my fiancé with me and the winds / roads were straight up dangerous. We drove 8 hours, tried to beat the storm, but ended up out in the worst of it at 1:00 am with only about 5 miles left to go. Never seen snow/ wind like that. Weather report said gusts were 80 mph plus. I can say that the Duratracs lived up to their rep as a great snow tire, and IMHO the truck performed as well as anyone could hope for a prerunner in 4 feet of snow. Close to 1,000 miles this weekend and taking the truck in tomorrow for the 5,000 maintenance. Love my truck more and more everyday!

Really glad I found this thread, love the truck! I'm looking to purchase the same tires, I don't tow anything and C load seems like the way to go imo. How much off-roading have you done with the suspension? Any kind of mud or rock crawling?

Thanks for the kind words man! I back the Goodyear Duratracs 100%. Even though they've been around a while (before the whole "hybrid" category of tire existed) I would recommend them. Considering how aggressive the tread pattern is, they are VERY quite on the road. Only other tires I would be interested in comparing them to is the Nitto Ridge Grappler, but htey don't come in 16's...only 17 and up. So far my off-roading has been more high-speed dirt roads, trails, etc because my Tacoma is a prerunner and that's what I'm into more so than rock crawling. So far been out to Ocotillo Wells, some desert trails around Indio, up in the high desert around Joshua Tree, Twenty Nine Palms, etc and was really impressed with suspension. I found a couple trails around Joshua Tree where I was going 50 mph and just floating through. I mean, don't get me wrong I'm not about to send it off any jumps...but for the money, I'd say it's a very cost effective way to make a significant improvement to the overall capability and enjoyment of a truck. Also, there's a dude on YouTube that has a ton of info/ reviews on Duratracs and he beats the shit out of them. link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pTWvb51WHg
