Ya for a little bit longer. Gonna do front bypasses and take the truck to solo for their rack before desert season

 

Cost would be my main guess. Also, I believe you get a lot less feedback through the steering wheel since there's no mechanical link between the two.

I mean, technically any suspension modification we do isn't street legal...

 

full hydro is super sketchy. Have it on our crawlers, aired down 42s you can turn it with your pinky just sitting there, literally feels like your driving a boat.

 

nice for when you have a crawler with 42s aired down..

going 50-70mph down a desert road...probably not so cool .haha

 

exactly haha i couldn't imagine going faster than 40 with full hydro just on a street haha

 

Anybody in the SD area have a stripped down first gen rear end? I want to set up my rear axle spring perches and pinion angle without taking apart my daily

 

I have a complete rear end out of a first gen I will sell you. I think it already has a spring under perches.

 

No different than the U4 guys doing 100 in the dirt on full hydro.

 

different when you have control vs when you are just counter steering and guessing what itll do next

 

The lack of steering feedback is a problem, but an even bigger problem is if you lose a belt, or your truck is turned off, you have ZERO steering.

I cut mine a lot for 35s(1st gen)

To secure the bottom, i drilled a hole in the pinch weld under the cab. Then a hole in the fender. I put a zip tie through the fender as a loop then another ziptie through the pinch weld hole and into the ziptie loop on the fender. works great.

 

Trimmed front and rear no issues. Cut 3" out of the front all the way down and 4" out of the rear. You'll be fine. Definately line-x/rattle can Bedliner the inside of the fenders or they'll spider crack from rocks hitting them @erok81

Tryin to find schematics for my xm microphone that was in my headliner. Like a dumbass I just cut the whole harness going to it so now I'm diggin for schematics to wire it back up. anyone know where to look? #luxuryprerunnerprobs

 

Quick question. Would a Solo motorsports XLT long travel kit for a 2004 4runner (newer body style) fit a 2011 Toyota Tacoma? I doubt it does but maybe someone could prove that inference.
