I made my own set of projector headlights once and I can tell you this is the cheapest route if you want to keep the OEM headlight look.

Alright, no feedback so I'm going to assume no one's used these. I will order a set and link to another post for install and results.

    Thanks!

@inwood customs Thanks for the reply, just placed my order so I'll update everyone on my experience with Pro Tuning Labs as well as the light quality. If it's crap I'll sick my credit card claims office on them. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Id suggest sealing ALL aftermarket lights where the 2 halves meet. Use GE SILICONE II.
Ive done this for others and never had 1 leak, and i did it for my retrofits and never had a leak.

Some websites even mention this in fine print at the bottom of their site.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have some leftover silicon from a previous retrofit I will be using to seal these

Anything worth noting regarding install/mods required before, during or after they were on your truck?

Figured I'd just get the lights they offered to save on shipping costs. Some people may say they're garbage but I've heard the same about DDM tuning which have lasted/performed just as well as Morimoto's in my experience.

Turns out these lights are currently out of stock at the vendor. Just requested a refund from Pro Tuning Lab, once they confirm the refund has been received I will try to find these elsewhere.

I got lights from Pro-tuning lab, that were made by Spyder. Got the HID set-up, with CCFL rings.

Lights were nice until Pro-Tuning got their hands on them. Pro did a butcher job, stuffing the HID bulb, grommet, and several connectors inside the housing, then notching the housing to get wiring out. No longer weather tight for sure. Then all the other thin wires were all over the place unprotected from abrasion, etc. Even the housing notch was rough cut and a potential abrasion point. I spent many hours rebuilding the whole set-up, before I could install them.

When ordering, they also didn't bother to tell me that the 4700K HID gives better usable light than the 6000K I bought.

HID low beams are nice, but make high's and fogs look piss yellow and dull by comparison. Save your money and go with xenon or halogen and avoid HID hassles, unless you want to undo Pro's damage like I had to. If you're good with this stuff, the final outcome looks good.

Last, the inverters that power the CCFL rings are causing a whistle through AM Radio stations. Flip 'em off, and it goes away. I may have to find a different point to take power from. I have rings and DRL LED's on separate circuit from main lights, so they can be on by themselves.

Will try to upload pics if I get a chance.

    Hope this helps someone
