$900 with the listed accessories - which I wouldn't buy.

The setup looks nice, though. Stainless isn't cheap. I don't see the value in it for my wallet.

Yes, a 22" Partner stove will fit inside the compact model or the regular Camp Kitchen. The model with the integrated stove uses a Camp Chef Everest stove. 20,000 btu's of power plus it simmers very well

I saw one of these at Mule Expedition Outfitters and have to say, it looks pretty nice. The price might steer a lot of folks away, but as someone who is into Backpacking, I know all that GSI equipment is pretty pricey too. I'm not sure which way I'll go with this. Originally I was concerned about having this exposed in the bed of the truck during rain/inclement weather but I've since solved that issue by putting a rollup tonneau cover that can still work with a bed rack. Water will still get in (minimal), but I might now be able to build myself a kitchen setup with plywood coated with herculiner or something. We'll see.

The compact would be nice....the price tho, I guess it would depend on how much you would use it.

What I REALLY wanted was a setup like Goose-Gear has. But it needs to be weather-tight. Then I started looking for alternatives, like TruckVault or other drawer systems like that. This seemed cheaper by comparison, but not exactly what I was looking for.

So i bit the bullet and ordered one. Should be here Friday. I got super sick of my fridge sliding around and an action packer and table all separate. Should save a good bit of space and make life easier

Id rather build up something out of wood, but for those that are not handy this might suit their needs.

I could. But wood is heavy, isnt great in the weather, and frankly, a waste of space. You can get a stronger layout with aluminum than wood in a more compact situation. You are paying a premium for sure. But you get a better cube of space with something like this. To make a wood chuck box with the tables, legs etc, it would be prohibitively large and heavy. I have to fit mine in the Alucab Camper when it gets here.

Wood well placed isn't that heavy. Get a hole saw and a jig saw to cut out sections of plywood to lighten things up, like the popular Paulk work bench.

So that addresses one very small part of a large equation.
Go for it. More power to you. I do realllly good with wood.
I built all my furnature in the house. But there is a time and place for wood. This to ME, isnt one of them.
