Hey guys, so I'm currently riding bilstein 5100 in all 4 corners with TC UCA. Im doing some research on what suspension i want to upgrade to. Im wanting an extended travel coilover. Im leaning toward the 2.5 Fox DSC in the front and 2.0 DSC in the back. But I've ran into a few things that are confusing me. Ive reached out to headstrong and DSM and received the following measurements:

    Bilstein 5100 coilover: Extended 22.56" / Collapsed 17.03"
    Fox 2.5 DSC Extended travel (pn#880-06-418): Extended 22.48" / Collapsed 17.59"
    King Extended travel (pn# 25001-119): Extended 21.68" / Collapsed 16.75"

So my question and point of confusion is, how does the bilstein 5100 have a longer extended length than the Extended travel Fox and King suspensions?

    Thanks y'all

The 5100 is actually a bit longer than the oem shocks. It's not entirely about the amount of travel. You can have dirty hooker travel and still not perform as well as a properly valved setup with less travel.

So the 5100 has more travel than the extended travel kings and foxes... doesn't seem right
