Startup Image Only Showing for Less Than a Second

I bought my truck last week and got around to loading the startup image without issue. However, the image is shown for literally a fraction of a second before moving on to the caution screen. I've tried different images, changing resolution, deleting, etc. Nothing has helped. It makes the feature useless. I called Toyota today and they couldn't help. Said they'd never heard of it, and honestly made me feel like it was silly to care enough about the startup image to even call about it.

All of the videos I've watched on youtube show the image lasting for about 3-4 seconds(?).

Has anyone else experienced this?

 

From What I read it is about a second for everyone, myself included. I haven't found a work around.

 

Huh, weird. On my 2015 it was a second or two, but enough to where you could actually see the picture. Hope it gets resolved.

 

Good news is, the screen off image stays as long as you want.
