Back axle upgrade to 4tires rear
Hello, I have a 1986Toyota odyssey mini rv. I'm traveling across the south playing music till a month ago when my transmission output shaft decided to go out on me. Was hoping to find out what I'm doing wrong as I've torn it apart and had 2 very bad mobile mechanics rip me off.
Hope I can find some advise, and maybe help someone else out in turn.
Here's my problem, one output bushing and 2 sleeves came out when I first pulled it out. Now the output bushing is bad and I am wondering how to keep the bushing in place and stop this thing from leaking. It's suppose to be a standard issue, simple fix. Well the slip yoke it's being delivered but the bushing inside the shaft doesn't stay in place. So I'm getting the yoke delivered .
    Hope it goes well
For those curious, it's a rwd. Auto.tr. and the back axle was upgraded by the previous owner. 4 cylinder 22 re. Engine and a43d tran.
I look forward to reading some posts.
