NO! High lifts are dangerous as it is. I own 2 and have used them for 30 years. Wait 1 more pay stub and buy quality once.

Get a high lift extreme off of Amazon. Sorry no link, I am on my tablet. I used a cheap one my father in law had pulling some steel post for him a while back. My jack was sitting on my truck 100 yards away but he insisted I use his because he knows I am anal about my stuff and didn't want me to damage it working on his stuff. 5 post in the jack failed, I smashed my hand and ripped a finger nail off. As I wrapped my hand up I said "you got this MF at Harbor Freight didn't you". He admitted he had and handed me a beer. I despise HF and so it was pretty funny as he now shares my hate of HF for such product's.

Hein Werner, was about 325$ , will last me , my kids and there kids and it's a shit load cheaper than a hospital bill or funeral. Allso I don't give a shit what jack you have all ways use jack stands , never trust a jack.

Uhh yeah, what everyone else said, its $60 for a HF jack and $77 for a base model Hi-Lift from Amazon, you'd be crazy not to get the brand name in this case.

Here are the links to the hi lift extreme's.

I have no idea what makes it extreme, probably just the sticker. I got it new in the box but 2nd hand for $80 but its a good jack. I would only use it to lift the truck in a jam as whenever possible I use two three ton floor jacks and jack stands for my shenanigans and they are not from harbor freight either. Well nothing in my garage is from HF as previously mentioned! Fuck all things HF so keep my perspective in mind if you choose to take my advise. Also HF SUCKS! F THEM!!

Hein Warner is the best jack manufacture on the planet but in this case I figure a hi-lift will do fine for you. Take some time and practice with it using jack stands and in a controlled environment. You do not want to be learning in a bad situation with it in the middle of nowhere.

But that doesn't replace a hi lift.

Don't skimp on it. It's a big safety thing and, with Hi-Lifts not even being too expensive, it's worth it to just throw in another $40 or $50 for something solid

Don't get the extreme. You don't need it. Honest.
I had the extreme, and all it is, is a jazzed up All Cast (Red). Mine was stolen off my truck, I bought a Cast and Steel to replace it after researching it. Strength wise it really isn't any weaker. All they say is the All cast will withstand more extreme abuse. Base plates for these things are cheap if you bust the stamped steel base. (I doubt you will.)
Unless you use the clamping function of the extreme all the time, you don't need it. Save your shekels. You can also look at the Patriot Edition which is an All Cast version, but in Blue and White. Proceeds from this jack go to Hope for the Warriors. PLUS it comes with a handle keeper which pays for the price increase right there.

Do NOT buy Horrible Freight jack, nor the even cheaper Tractor Supply farm jack. I had the latter almost kill me. It just released and dropped without warning. Wasn't even touching it.

Buy HiLift brand. Not that much more money.

The Xtreme model is the same as the All Cast, but they coat the fasteners and mechanical components with a zinc-based formula, which reduces corrosion. Mine will be mounted on the roof rack (if it ever gets here), so I went with that model to hopefully improve reliability/longevity
