This is my first lifted vehicle, 3in lift and 32in tires. So if I do get a flat, will the factory spare tire be OK to put on to get back home and get a new tire or will it cause damage. Is also consider options for a full size spare but haven't found any that I like except for custom fabrications. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I believe your factory spare is a 31 right? 265/70?

You will probably be ok as long as you are driving short distances and not at high speeds because your driving characteristics will be wierd. I would def get a full size spare when you have a chance. Most people when upgrading their tires get 5 or 6 initially. I believe you can fit a 33" in the factory spare spot.

If you are worried; stay out of 4WD with mismatched tire sizes.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Same principle as a donut spare on a car as far as don't go crazy fast and don't drive forever. You have an open differential so its not really a big deal

Me thinks your wife got the better deal... you will be fine running a slightly shorter tire with 2wd just don't go crazy fast..

You can still be a loser AND have 4wd... just sayin... there's a few examples but they have all be banned! :anonymous:

My spare is the 265/70/17. My other tires are 265/75/16. Not too much of a difference, but I could feel it when making left hand turns.
