How are you guys fitting a dual row? All the brackets say it will only fit a single row. I agree that it looks like there's room but the only brackets I found say single row only. Did you have to cut into the plastic at all?

Make your own brackets like most people do, and dremel out the plastic a bit. I fit a 32 inch double row in mine

It is usually a joke to say :itllbuffout:. But in this case it looks like it will. Is it just scuff marks? If so a Magic Eraser will take off the paint transfer but leave very fine scratches on the truck. Follow that up with some 3M Finesse It II and the fine scratches will be gone and you will then probably want to do the rest of the truck.

alright so I will start with the good news haha got my new patches in the mail today and added them to the collection :) i also managed to put on my new heavy duty tow hook on the front which I am happy with. I also managed to fix a rattle. my front passenger fender flare was missing a bolt way down underneath so I put in a new bolt and nut. now for the frustrating part haha ive been waiting long enough to swap out the toyota aluminum skid plate for a steel one I got from BPF. its pretty crappy outside, snowing and wet but not too cold so I figured I would lay a tarp down and tackle the project. got the skid plate off no problem, and of course could not get anything to line up properly while trying to get the new skid plate on, frustrated I say f it and decide to just put the aluminum one back on because it went on nice and easy last summer, yup couldn't get anything to line up for that one either :annoyed: looks like I will be waiting for some warmer weather to attempt it again.

Anybody out there running the BPF skid plate and know what order all them washers go in? they give me 3 washers, a lock washer and an aluminum spacer, I know where the spacer goes but even in their instructions they do not specify in which order or where the spacers go.

I'm running the BPF skid, but not sure I'll be able to take a peek under there tonight to tell you how I have mine. I'll check tomorrow morning and will see if I can snap a pic too just in case.

    I used this bracket.

Had to trim out the plastic inside the valence, but that's it. I think the instructions said only a single row would fit, but I figured I'd try the double and send it back if it didn't fit.

This is what I had to cut:

fair enough man thanks for the advice. I'm honestly not even going to bother, I thinking of getting the whole truck professionally buffed this summer anyways, paint is pretty dull and theres some nice swirl marks from the previous owner haha the paint seems like the only thing he didn't take care of haha

did you have any issues lining up the front bolts? not sure why I was having such difficulties but I think next time I might jack up the front end to give me a little more room haha and maybe try doing in on a day when its not snowing. if you could have a look at the washer set up on yours when you get a chance it would be greatly appreciated.

I changed the cabin air filter - got the 2013 last Saturday and from the looks of it the filter change was long over due - and installed a set of bed cleats.

Added some tie-down points on the inside of my tailgate. For some reason, I always seem to need tie-downs at these spots. IMG_20170331_190126946.jpg IMG_20170331_190119265_HDR.jpg

Yeah, had a bit of trouble too. Luckily my buddy helped me, and he has a set of drive up ramps, so that made it a bit easier.
