did those vultures show up after you stopped? This looks like maybe the San Ignacio area? Sitting in Cabo atm myself rather cool and breezy.

Nope, I was just driving along and stopped to take their photo. They don't see too many vehicles in that area! This is Valle Chico, near Canyon El Berrendo, southwest of San Felipe.

Well, that was taken the first week of March (last month). I post all my Baja photos in the Trip Reports Forum here on TW as well as on Baja Nomad Forums, when I get back from my trips.

Here is the Tacoma World Trip Reports forum in the Off Road section: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/trip-reports.180/

my cousin was driving up from Cabo a year ago... buzzards in the road between San Quetien and Ensanada... he kept thinking to himself, they will jump up and fly away at any moment, they will jump up and fly away at any moment the closer he got the less is seemed to be, he slowed and they jumped but not too far. They were so full from eating the carion that they couldnt fly and he hit them. One puked up what was in his stomach and got away, the other hit the windshield and well, just made a really really stinky mess in the bed of the truck... think rotted, partially digested vulture innards and the bird itself.
