I haven't had the time to put it all back together, currently riding around with zip-ties holding the climate control and 4x4 switches in place.

If I get around to finishing up tonight after work, I'll post some pics.

I actually did that with a 4 year old can. Didn't go on smooth at all the first 2 applications. I just kept going and it looked better each pass. Did 5 coats.

My dad always said I should learn from other people's mistakes. So.. if you are doing this for fun, have a ball....just put extra layers on. The thicker on, the easier off. (This is the learn from my mistake part)

If you're doing this "to see what it looks like". Look at other people's pics and go ahead with paint. Pain in the ass to remove from the cracks and crevices. Wish I just painted the wheels.

Suggestions for a 'stainless steel' type darker silver effect? Wanting to do the badges on my Blue Ribbon Metallic truck, not sure if going all the way to a graphite or anthracite would be too dark.

No, i ordered the kit from the website that comes with a cleaner and a microfiber and I think 4 cans so I probably used 3.5 cans total for wheels and bumper. it was cheaper than buying 4 individual cans.

i have noticed i didn't do a good job on the center caps... they were harder because i was wiping the toyota symbol after each coat to keep it silver and it messed with the adhesion in the corners/creases, so i'll probably pop those off and re-spray them with what i have left, and be a little more detail oriented with them.

I would hop on the website and look at the custom colors, pick out a few and then chat with a rep. they were really helpful when I was deciding.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Seems only a few places carry the Anthracite grey.

I thought I got lucky with my local lowes but it doesnt seem to be the same color, or is it:
