Traded in my 2014 base AC V6 4x4 Tacoma for a 2017 DC TRD Sport back in January, been tire shopping ever since. I can't make up my mind and I am driving my girlfriend nuts looking at tires online in my spare time.
Help me decide based on your experience with the specific tire or the brand in general.

This is my daily driver, mostly city/highway, to the slopes in the winter and camping spots in the summer.

    Prices below in Canadian Dollars.

    Options:

    Kumho Road Venture AT51
    P265/70r17
$628.48 total with possible $70 rebate, plus install.

    Yokohama Geolander AT G015
    P255/75r17
$740.60 total Minus $70 rebate, plus install.

Will be installing these on my newly acquired(yesterday) 17x7.5 FJ steelies. Am stoked to get rid of the terrible Sport wheels.

I have the Kumho AT 51s on my 2012 SR5. I installed them last fall and they have exceeded my expectations for both quietness and performance. I would absolutely purchase them again.

I had 3 sets of the Geolander ATs on my last 2 second Gens and think they were really good tires

Might want to check out the FALKEN WILDPEAK AT3W. Severe Snow Rated just like the Yokohama G015, similar pricing. Cheers.

I can only speak to the Yoko's Geolanders cause I have them on my truck but I love em. I have 265/75/16's and they are well behaved on road and suit me well in my light to medium off roading

Yup, amazing in snow, rocky/ sandy canyon washes, and sooo quiet for daily driving. They were $512 installed with courtesy discount for auto industry. 265/75/16 standard load sizing just like @SR510 's.

They're also not much heavier than the stock wranglers. Almost got stuck in mud once with the wrangler AT's. The Geolandars aren't fancy tires as the price reflects for the standard load, but I like them so far. It was either yok's or the newer Falken wildpeaks. Went with the yok's because of the frequent snow we had here late last year.
