I knocked a factory mudflap off yesterday wheeling. do the atermarket options (Rokblokz, weathertech, other recomendations) flex enough to avoid this?

There are some mud flaps made by ROAD SPORT the PRO-FIT model is the one you want Size 6 for a Tacoma. You dont hear much about them but they are nice and the number 6 fits a Tacoma very well. They are rubber universal fit. Look on Amazon or google the company. When and if I have to replace mine they are the ones I will use.

Plasticolor are your best option for flexible flaps and are by far the best price.

Just put the Plasticolor on last weekend. Look good and flexible.

Rocblokz have very good reviews from people off-roading them. Very flexible. There is also a group buy going on right now. I think you'll still be able to get in. Pretty nice savings too.

Those rokblokz look nice, but I like the plasticolor price better plus I am sure I will be ripping some more of them off.

    tibidoe,
Is there a particular size mudflap you bought from Plasticolor? My Tacoma is pretty much identical to yours and have had to send an Amazon set (not Plasticolor) that I bought, back to them. Want to be sure to order correct size for my 2017 SR 4X4.
    Many thanks.

I used the 11" Plasticolor from Amazon, then spent another $40 on stainless steel hardware, nylon spacers and some aluminum to make brackets so I could use the existing holes.

Thanks, stopmithering. Will have a look at my fittings in the wheelwell and see if there is some way I can get the Plasticolor ones to fit.

I bought these. I spent a little more than the cheap option knowing they would fit with no extra monkeying around/rigging brackets/hunting hardware at Lowe's etc and that was exactly correct. It was worth it to install them in 10 minutes using the factory holes and not have to screw around with it. Also, it was 5 degrees here and I couldn't bear spending too much time outside messing around with fitting universal flaps.
