    They're pretty excellent. I've been a pain in the ass with all my emails and they answer quickly without getting annoyed. :)

    Just want to give a Huge shout out to the Pelfreybilt group. I had lost my hardware to mount my new bumper and I called asking what was included in the hardware kit so that I can go and pick some up at the local store. Next thing I know I get an email telling me that a new packet of hardware was being mailed to me! Now that's great service! Way up and beyond what was needed because like I said I lost it and just wanted to know what was inside the kit so that I could go to the store and buy the replacement hardware.

    Thank You Pelfreybilt family, thank you very much!

    @Pelfreybilt

    Quick question.... what size tube is used on the center hoop? Thinking of getting a pair of Fourtreks Hi-Lift jack billet aluminum bumper mounts for it that works with a 1 7/8" ARB bumper tubing... but not sure what the Pelfrey is...

    So that would not work then... thanks for the quick answer.

    Know of any Hi-Lift mounts that would work on the Center hoop of the bumper?

    Why not just mount it on your rear bumper when you get it? If you bury the truck, I doubt you want to dig the mud out around it. Or, mount it in the bed.

    Bed mounting is normally the safest and easiest way to mount it. Especially with a cap.

    Agreed. That sucker would turn into a projectile in an accident. Many long time off-roaders/adventurers consider that to be a faux pas and done for looks rather than function/safety.

    Won't have a rear for a while. Is currently in the bed at the front of the bed right now. Just sucks getting it out when on the trails.

    Mainly thinking of doing this just when I am on the trails and have it mounted on the front of the bumper instead of in the bed for easy access.

    Mount it in the bed on either side of the rails, tons easier to pull out and use.

    On an unrelated note: I hope @Pelfreybilt isn't able to see how many times I login to their website each week, hoping to see "shipped".

    It would be embarrassing.

    I feel like a desperate boyfriend checking facebook to see if our relationship status has changed yet.

    Not enough...
    Hey gents! I managed to score a free dual sport bike, an '07 Yamaha XT225 from a friend, but it is in San Francisco. I am picking it up from there when I am in the area for a camping trip in 3 weeks. I have a shell with an RTT on it, so shoving it in the bed is not an option plus the truck would be loaded with all my camping gear. So my other option is getting one of those tow hitch bike carrier things.

    Does anyone have any experience with those in your Pelfrey plate bumpers? Can you recommend a decent one? The bike is only 240lbs, so I am not terribly concerned, but its going to be a long-ass drive from San Francisco to San Diego with that thing dangling off the back of my truck. Any particular carrier I should buy? Amazon has a ton ranging anywhere from $80 to $150 or so

    I definitely feel your pain. I'm at 11.5 weeks and I'm chomping at the winch.
