so...i have a 2017 taco with manual seats. I guess I've gotten spoiled with power seats in the past because i prefer to sit higher, but I can't because my seat does not have a height adjustment.
other than putting in spacers, which is totally doable, I was wondering if anyone else has any ideas or similar issues.
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to keep the same seat but convert it from manual to power. Thanks for any advice or info.

I think the seats are not too bad in the Tacoma, only complaint is the bottom is kinda flat lacking a little thigh support.

I was at the Dealer today waiting on some paperwork and jumped in a RAV4 that was on the showroom, seats felt pretty much just like a Tacoma seat except with much better thigh support.

Some guys have used washers on the seat mounts to alter the height and angle

yeah I've heard of that too. seems like an easy fix. and safety should be good as long as grade 8 hardware is used.

maybe its just me overthinking it but, i got accustomed to higher sitting seats. these are lower. also they are slightly harder than I'm used to.
again.....maybe I'm just overthinking it. or maybe I'm too much of a princess.

They are a little hard I'll give you that... Still, I have back issues and these seats are comfy to me. I have no complaints about them. My 03 WRX seats are still my favorite seats though.

Those seat covers makes a world of a difference in height the first time you sit on them.

I just put them on the other day, so I can't really give you a review. But the seat covers made me move the seat back a click and recline the seats back a little too.

How tall are you? I'm 5'9" and i don't see how anyone much taller than me can be comfortable in the truck seats. My knees hit the steering wheel when getting in the seat as it is.
