    Hello, I'm new to this forum and I would like to start by asking what is this? I recently bought a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and I looked under the hood and got confused. So what is this?

    AFe Rebel Catback Exhaust, AFe GT Momentum Air Intake, Method Wheels, Bilstein 5100, Rigid 30" SR2 Light Bar, Rigid 10" SR Light Bar. Lots of Love
    Secondary air pump; for emission reasons. The most expensive worthless repair you will do when it fails lol. <--- that's what it is because when it fails your ECU goes into LIMP mode and you can't go above around 40mph, so its a must have, must repair item if it should ever fail.

    Seems like a good fix for something that could be an expensive problem. There is lots of chatter about it on this site, read up about it and decide for yourself. If I had one on mine I would do it.

    Yeah those started on the 2012 model year, shouldn't be on a 2008 unless someone changed the engine/ecu out.

    Install the uni filter, but remove the little foam factory filter which reportedly breaks apart and damages the pump.
