    TRD supercharger , Doug Thorley header , K&N CAI 265/75-16 Toyo open country mud terrain , 15x8 Method Racing wheels , Rancho 3" lift , 4.88 gears , Detroit Locker
    Do they ... The aftermarket make a perf torque converter for the auto trans in the 1rst gens ??

    Looking for a looser converter

    2.7 w/auto, 4WU 3 link, F & R Diamonds, ARB's F/R w/ Yukon 5.29's, Inchworm 4.7 Lefty, Deavers, ARB OBA, Schrockworks up front.
    Not sure if they exist without going custom. I too want a performance converter.

    I can say the stalls are different from a 2wd and 4wd. I went from a 2wd A340E to a 4wd A340F. The stall on the A340F is 2300. The stall on the A340E was 2100.
    The numbers were shown to me by the trans shop mechanic via SnapOn OBDII machine.

    They probably don't have what you want on the shelf (doubt if anyone does) but they might be willing to make one for you.

    I would think any of the performance places like Hughes, TCI, B&M, A1, Art Carr, Fairbanks could loosen yours up. You might have to send yours in if they don't have one to start with.
