    I think the front styling is better than the 3G Taco, but that's just me.

    I found a few reviews of the 2016 Hilux from Australia, it was updated for 2016 same as the Tacoma. It appears the top trim 4.0 is almost the same as a 3G Tacoma. Same dimensions, but stronger rear suspension gets 2200lb payload. It has a steel bed, maybe that helps with payload.

    - Maybe a better rear suspension, better stock springs, 2200lb payload. Has a steel bed
    - Same exterior dimensions
    - 31/26 approach/departure
    - 8.9" ground clearance
    - 6600lb towing with the 4.0
    - Has ATRAC, doesn't have crawl control
    - Has diesels
    - Has more body versions
