Uniballs! Still breaking them in. They're stiff as hell... But they're getting looser! Ride is better than it was, but honestly not by much. However the articulation is pretty incredible.

SPC UCAs are damn beefy. I thought they were tubular, but they feel like solid steel.

Also lunch: Grass fed boneless pork loin chops. Marinated in some rub overnight, cooked over bed of onion/ mushroom and in seasoning, chicken stock, olive oil and minced garlic:drool:IMG_20170420_110408830.jpg

Meh. It's just a matter of opinion. I'm an old school guy; to me the proper exhaust note is a true-dual v8 or true duals on an inline six. The WRX exhaust reminds me of a smallblock that's got spark problems.

I'm partial to big displacement, air cooled, odd # of cylinders in a radial configuration. They make the best noise. Ever. /discussion.

I refer you back to the new Stig, "turbos are just God's way of telling you it ain't got enough cylinders".

I'd agree, for most vehicles, but there are exceptions.
The Bugatti Veyron definitely has enough cylinders, and 4 turbos as well

How about large displacement, 2 stroke, diesel engines? I absolutely love the sound they make!

Nice. Too rich for my blood though, plus uniballs in the salt are iffy. I think I'm going to throw whiteline poly bushings on my stockers and replace the LBJ per @Crom build thread. I've got some pretty good squeaking going on from the front end right now, with almost 170k on a lot of the stock front end stuff it's probably about time anyways.

I love the rumble... Good exhaust on the STI is amazing. The new WRX with a downpipe and catback sounds like whale farts....
    I love airplane motors.

Hopefully someone who has done this before can tell me, Is this part the full assembly and is it the same for both front and rear of the LCA?

If I'm planning on the cut and replace method and looking at the diagram right, I need 4x part #16 (OE: 4819060020) and new bushings. Can anyone confirm that those cams come with all the parts for the job, or are there other parts in addition to those that I'll need?

We had sleet and freezing rain at the house last night. And it was 28 degrees the night before. Had to relight the woodstove in the cellar to warm the core of the house back up

You need a lot more than that. Let me try to dig out the parts list from when I did mine.

Ya Toyota sells each cam, bolt, and nut seperately. That diagram doesn't look correct

[IMG] @mach1man001 here's the jefe de los jefe's (boss of bosses) the Pratt and Whitney R-4360 wasp major. Sadly the jet engine snuffed this technology... But this was the pinnacle. 4 banks of 7 cylinders for a total of 28. Turbo/supercharged for 4,300hp. Fuggin nuts...
