2015 DCSB FTW in this Reality

Haven't had a Toyota 4x Pickup since my 1985 xtracab...!
Probably before a lot of you were packing diapers...
Back then I really was pushing the limits of the 5sp man in lo-lock all over mainland Mexico on crazy surf trips,sleeping in the Snugtop for weeks...
Fast forward to 3 surf groms and a perpetually wet dog later I had to separate the sandy gear,wetsuits and Labrador from the seats....otherwise I smell like seaweed on Mon at the office ...I drove the heck out of dealer and borrowed DCLBs and DCSBs for 2 years trying to find the right balance...The LB evoked thots of month long surf trips camping in the back..Until I actually took my neighbors DCLB TRD Sport for a "day in life"...school drop off, checking jobsites to the office parking garage...Hate to say it DCLB loyalists but that extra 13" makes a big difference wheeling around Southern Cal beach towns and Baja...Not to mention Trader Joe's...Therefore I ended up with the DCSB and couldn't be happier.I may not be able to sleep in the back with a cord of wood but I'm not 3 pointing every u-turn or trying to find 2 parallel parking spots together at the beach...With a shell I get the gear and the dog away off the seats with boards on top everywhere we need to go and then whip into packed Starbucks lot to refuel much easier than the shorter Expedition ever could....Reality
