    Wear a hat with a big brim? :notsure: :D

    that doesn't lead to a good outcome

    :eek: missed that somewhere. Best of luck and hope the surgeon's hands are steady and he fixes the issues.

    :wave: afternoon boys :washing: supposed to :rain: this afternoon so no bonfire :pout: decided I'm going to burn the roots out. Have a 4' deep trench around half of it (going to dig out more around the front) and put the roots I've already pulled out underneath and light it up!!! Then let it burn!!!!

    How's the shoulder today Chris? Hope you've managed to get some sleep.

    Wife just landed in Richmond, VA. Unfortunately for business instead of pleasure. No fun this morning when the dogs spotted her with a suitcase. They freak out when one or both of us are leaving and I swear they seem to know the night before.

    Our dogs hate it when we leave. We had some extended trips for funerals in the last few years, so when they see a duffle bag or suitcase they start moping around and vying for more attention.

    I do need some local buds to party with. Most all my friends are married with kids still at home. Feels odd with the wife gone, I keep expecting her to walk on the room. We've been together for the past 15+ years - two PCS's, two tours downrange and a bunch of TDY's. So now it's her turn to travel.

    Well,

    Done for the moment knees and ankle said yeah umm we are no longer going to work under these conditions so time to set a spell. Did the landscaper routine, built a rolling platform for the lathe so I can get my other rolling platforms out from under it, took them to the other shop to put the small Vidmar cabinets on to be able to move them till they are mounted, straightened up the big shop, swept , mounted new power strip at the bench. Small shop mounted the lathe to the new wood rolling platform just a temp platform I will make one out of steel cause only lowsers / home despot know why you can not get straight lumber anymore . Dinner in the oven nice eye roast to eat on for a few days. The last three days @Casper66 knows the drill human / Dog food shopping, drop stuff to ship, hair cut , gas, drive up state pick up more lathe stuff previous owner found, check vidmars at base recycle pay, drive down state get trailer ( didn't know if I was interested in the left over vidmars ) get trailer haul upstate get vidmars , haul down state unload mine leave my buddies on the trailer go park it in his yard where it lives since he has more room. Install replacement belts on lathe and new tool post holder clean up more of the accessories for lathe... And so on lol oh and installed a new router last night since my other cisco finally died after 8 years spent 2 hours on phone with Linksys since their routers SUCK I got going 4 times only to have it mysteriously drop wireless then wired connections that is when I gave up and called Linksys only took me 5 min to get them to understand I need someone who speaks English natively not Engrish the guys accent was so thick I got maybe 1 word out of 3 or 4 . If I was not having surgery in the am I would be sitting down with 3 fingers 2 ice cubes and relaxing ! lol

    Rant ., Whine, Moan session over :}

    Question to the other geeks in here when was the last time you had to clone your mac address to the router to make it talk nice to the broad band or any WAN connection GRRR at least for a basic LAN with Sec FWall, POE Camera's and NAS..I do not have a mail server nor am I hosting anything jeez lol
