Anyone recently done a front brake pad change and have pads to recommend?

Also... should I get the rotors turned while I am at it?

I had the MAXX pads from Autozone....they worked really well. I downgraded to the DuralastGold, because I was at the mercy of my driver/ride.
I got mine turned, because I was already there and......might as well.
OR......get some slotted and keep yohr OEM rotors as spares...that's what I did.

I bought slotted rotors and ebc green stuff from Summitracing, I got the order in like 2 days and they were good pads and rotors. Paid around $200 for the fronts. That pads and rotors.

Shit, well I can say the best way to test the cooling system for any leak is a pressure test, they have that cool little air pump looking tool to rent at the auto stores.

This is one I was looking at
    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A5870A0A0.aspx

But didn't know if I should replace the rotors while I was at it or just get some EBC green stuff since they are 20% off right now from AutoAnything.

    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3070A0A0.aspx

    or an EBC Brake Kit

If I would do it again, I would get slotted and drilled. I read that drilled causes the metal to cool too fast, while the rest of the rotor was still hot........(this is more true on sport cars.....not our turtle-ish trucks)
Reason I didn't get drilled is because of mud and shiz that WILL get in there.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, baked mud.
Edit: I got mine from RockAuto....were like super cheap, in comparison to other sites.

I got the AutoZone ones because I could get them replaced, when I felt like it.
They have been the best pads I have used, so far. I used the TRD ones and they faded soooooooooooo bad....I still have them as spares.
