Not a good idea. it's a Escalade, remember? picked as one of the MOST unreliable new vehicles out there.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
My father in law and i flew to Oklahoma City and drove this one home. Immediately before it was auctioned it recieved a full rebuild/refresh at Red Sand Army Depot. Only had 1k on the odometer. It is an amazing vehicle and we stole it at $10k (plus airfare and gas and motels home). We now use it every memorial day and july 4th to carry vets in the local parades and then for whatever else may come up.

    I would choose a Pinzgauer

Overall about the size of a Wrangler, but will carry up to 10 people.

Available in 4x4 (710) or 6x6 (712) and with either canvas or hard sides (hard sides for the Zombie Apocalypse)

Dirt simple air cooled 4 cylinder engine that can be repaired with chewing gum and a paper clip (engineered to be simple to repair)

And if you REALLY need to get somewhere difficult, you can do the full Mattrax treatment

I have seriously thought about buying one of these, but the 60MPH top speed makes it a bummer as anything other than a toy.

I'd get a Pinto. That way when I get overrun by zombies, I could blow us all to hell. Fuck yeah.

Yeah when everyone runs out of fuel, just start draining the oil from the fuelless vehicles and pour it into the tank.

I've always thought the same way. Either just run the herds over with tanks or use pits like the governor did in season 4 of TWD, but make multiple staggered rings with draw bridges so you can't just walk in a straight line to get to your base (I don't think zeds would have much obstacle avoidance capabilities). Then employ wood chipper/rock/vehicle crusher type machines to kill and grind up the zombies. Then you could render them like pigfat to make biodiesel or seal them in a landfill if they pose too much of a bio threat.

My vehicle would be a penndot snowplow. Its big and comes with a plow to drive through the herds. Plus its yellow and can sleep 6 (its a PA thing).
