The leaf eye bushing is measured to be the following. As for the shackle bushing I'm not sure because I went with 4xinnovations stock replacement shackle kit.

@Crom Did you do the brake pad spring upgrade (adding another spring)? I thought it was you that did it, but I can't seem to find it in here, maybe it wasn't you.
    Thanks.

    Hey, Doc! :fistbump:

I did the "upgrade". I don't remember where it was discussed either, but what did you want to know?

I don't think @Crom would mind us talking about it here.

Hm.. I'm intrigued as to what the spring upgrade does.

Not so much of an "upgrade" rather adding a second set of stock pad retaining springs to the brake calipers. Once your brake pads start to wear down, they delvelop a "click" when you change direction from forward to reverse and vise versa. That noise is the pads shifting ever so slightly in the calipers themselves and you apply the brakes. The second set of springs are supposed to quiet the click down. Mine didn't go away completely, but it did minimize it. Word on the street is that when you also change the pads it's supposed to go away, but will eventually return as they wear down again. Just part of the charm of owning a Tacoma, as annoying as it can be to some people. But hey, at least our rear diffs aren't leaking.

It also just seems retarded to have a spring on only one side?

    Also added the second spring.

    Nick mentions it here.

He's been slacking, since he never indexed this $4.60 mod in his OP.

btw I ended up going with Dewalts system bc it is dust/water proof. Took it on a trip to Death Valley last month (hella dusty) and everything inside stayed clean!

Can you measure the leaf eye bushing size too? ES doesn't sell just the shackle-frame bushing, only the full kit and I already have the ones from wheelers. If they are all the same size I can just order another wheelers set.

If you haven't already ordered anything there appears to be 2 different bushings in the 82116G kit. But the difference is in the shoulder(or flange OD). I haven't taken a look to figure out which ones go where.

I've got the bushings from Wheelers already. Two sets. I ordered the OEM shackle to frame bushings yesterday.

    I jacked up front end.
    Cleaned around fill container,
    Disconnected PS return line,
    routed return into catch container.
Turn ignition to on, to unlock steering wheel
Turn steering wheel all the way to right
    Refill PS reservoir,
    Turn steering wheel to center,
    Refill PS reservoir
Turn steering wheel all the way left
    Refill PS reservoir,
Repeat until red fluid comes out return,
    Reattach ps return hose.

Skip the baster method, doesn't really work on our trucks.

    Thanks

Bolt the track where you want it, lay may down put heavy object in top of mat, make cuts with a box cutter with fresh blade from the top.

    Good idea!

I always run the factory torque. Use prothane super grease.

Still in my workbench waiting to go in. I'm using the Wheelers ones that are designed for the OME leafs. They fit perfectly.

Yes two spreader springs for each caliper. I have no idea why Toyota only used one, but made provisions for two.

    Good deal!

    Mine is not dust/ waterproof.
