MotoGP at COTA this weekend - who's going?

My son and I have a day pass for Sunday. Should be a great time and scenery with the weather cooperating.

 

I will be there with my wife on Sunday morning as well.

 

Hoping ducati will pull off a win.. wish i could go this year

What c4lvinnn said. I was down for the count Thursday-Friday with a bug. All my son kept asking.."you better daddy we're going right" (he's 7). I kept thinking no way but we made it Sunday! What a race and what a day for pure speed and domination by team Repsol. Hope you guy and gals had a good time.

 

Marquez and Pedrosa were getting at it for sure! We were at turn 19, and saw when Rossi passed up Pedrosa on the inside. Lots of fans for The Doctor erupted at that point lol

 

Great shot!! And you're spot on with that comment. What a great race! We move around a lot. Usually start at turn 1 and were wowed with a crash during MotoGP 3. Both guys got up but one was limping. And FYI...we're still learning who is who and all. We ate at Rudy's on our way home and a sea of "46" fans came through! It was a site! We're already talking about next year - may get a pit pass if funds allow. Wish COTA would bring in more races like this. $71 for a day of entertainment is totally worth it! In my opinion, this far out paces F1 and doesn't have that elitist feel like F1 does (again - in my opinion).

 

We went to Ramen Tatsu-ya and saw a few people wearing Rossi shirts and other MotoGP related apparel. Saw plenty of people at Bucees in Temple too who went to the races haha. We plan to go to F1 as well this year.

 

My son made the comment on wanting to attend F1. Are you able to find reasonable tickets? Educate me..

 

F1 is going to be at least 2 times as much per ticket. I want to get tickets for turn 12 (which overlooks 4-5 different turns on the track) but it's $200/each.

 

Hmm. That is steep. But I wonder if my son would get in free like MotoGP? Have a good one! May have to meet you at MotoGP next year. Sure were a lot of great looking Tacomas!
