    Finally got a full size spare on order. I'm too cheap to buy a KO2 for spare so I went for a Cooper Discoverer RTX. Should be in Thursday and I'll go get me a full alignment and rotate/balance done Friday in prep for Moab trip.

    does anybody know the wheel specs for the stock spare rim? is it the same size as the ones that come on your model? so 17" rim on the sports 16" on the ORs, etc..

    would it be recommended to put my spare tire on my spare rim that's under the truck, or to put it on one of my stock sport rims?

    I just want to know that if I put the spare on one of the wheels I won't have to worry too much about backspacing. I know if I put my spare on my stock rim it can only go on the rear of the truck unless I have a spacer for the front.

    All of my tires are made by Treadwright. If those are the retreads you're looking at, they are just as durable as any normal tire in my experience with them.
