x2 on he cig lighter. I cheated and just tapped the wires right behind the cig lighter instead of all the way to where fuse box. The cb draws very little power and I wanted it to turn off when the truck shut off.

I brought him prices from the net on some adtermarket suspension parts and he came close to matching the price. Looks like the banks truck is getting new suspension within the next month.

Whats the deal with camping on BLM land or National forest land? My brother is coming out in late july for a week. He wants to camp, but Tumalo is booked.

For me it's way better than he campgrounds. It's free and you can get away from people. Download the Avenza Maps app. The. Load the deschutes nationsl forest MVUM(motor vehicle use maps) (ochocos NFL if you wanna go that way) and it will give you all the roads that are open for displacement camping. It also will show you roads that are seasonally closed (always good to know your legal). Plus it works without cell service so I use it for off-road navigation most of the time in the deschutes and ochoco national forests.

It was great. We made it to Fort Rock, went to Silver Lake, Thompson Reservoir, and back home via La Pine.

Probably going to check out a few caves this coming weekend.
