    Steps not needed..maybe bull bar..Had one on my Silverado...hit a deer... bull bar and deer didn't survive...but truck did.

    Actually, I did. It was a Westin SS. The truck was lifted which helped in taking care of the deer.

    Back to my original post... I am installing the exhaust, but after searching past threads, I'm not sure about the CAI. Also, I didn't mean no comments. I meant I'd like to hear from people who had these installed to help me decide. All comments are welcome, no matter how sarcastic or critical. I'm just a new Taco owner who loves moding trucks. And I am old.

    The flowmaster dual exhaust (#817719) is finally installed! It looks good and sounds good. It is a little louder than I thought. It is described as a moderate/mild sound. Mods so far....2.5" front and 2" rear lift, some chrome badging, and the duals. I'm retired and doing mods is part of my retirement agenda. When I was younger, I couldn't afford the truck, let alone the mods. I'm having fun...so far...so good. I will put pics on when I figure out how to..LOL.
