Most dealers will void any suspension related warranty issues after a lift is installed. Some will even void drivetrain warranties because how lifts can change angles of driveshaft, CV's, etc... but these seem to be dealer specific. Dealer A might void all, dealer B might not void sh!t. It's a roll of the dice and what mood the service manager is in if you ever bring it in for warranty work. IMO... lift is worth the risk of them voiding it, but that's me.

Edit: just to reiterate how different each dealer is from the next... my dealer told me they don't void anything if the lift is 3" or less. But a friend of mine bought his truck 30 clicks away at a different dealer and was told they void all suspension if there's any lift/mod done to suspension.

If you have some basic technical abilities and you're even the least bit competent with tools and can hold onto a wrench without looking like a dog trying to hump a football... then you're good. If you look like said dog while holding a wrench, have someone else do it.

This is the quickest link I could find that addresses this but the Maguson-Moss Act protects you and SEMA.org is the leading advocate against violations.
