Hey guys, hoping I can get some input. I have a bedrack that was custom made but unfortunately wasn't made to spec by the fabricator. I don't have the tools, time, or know-how myself to fix it, but I'm not even sure if this is a job a shop will take (my experience with custom-fab work in shops is limited at best). Basically it mounts to a custom rail system I have, and the mounting plates of the rack were made about 1/4" too wide and not square at all so I need the entire rack narrowed and a new maxtrax mount welded on. In addition the maxtrax mounts were incredibly shoddy so I need them reworked as well. First of all do y'all think this is something a shop would even take on? If so any recommendations for reworks locally to the Bay Area? Pics of the rack in question are attached.

Thanks for the tip, I'll reach out to him. I'm still open to other shop suggestions if anyone has anything. I'm on the Peninsula so Peninsula/South Bay would be ideal.

For the sake of anyone who finds this thread, I ended up going to Tim. Great guy, fixed my rack perfectly.

Nothing really to show yet, he reworked the mounting plates, fixed the maxtrax mount, and plugged the 5 thousand holes left from where the original fabricator used screws to hold on the crappy perforated sheets.

The paint job was abysmal to begin with and he had to strip a decent amount to work on it so it's currently primered and waiting for me to paint it this week:

Rack is getting a its first few layers of paint, anyone have suggestions for deck materials? The perforated aluminum bent on the edges (aside from looking like crap). The bars are evenly spaced enough that I don't think the deck material needs to be heavy duty, just something to give a nice flat surface to slide boxes on. I was thinking a 1/8" polycarb sheet, reasonably light and wont have rust issues like metal or rotting like wood.
