Why do stormtroopers make such great parents?

 

Mines is a 2006 with NO backup camera.

 

How would one go about installing a backup camera in a pre-2009 2nd gen? Wire it into the reverse light?

Yeah, but I had a guy with a 2008 leave a comment on another thread of mine, and his problem was that he couldn't figure out how to make his aftermarket camera come on when he shifted into reverse...

 

Let the dealership inspect it, they are suppose to coat it with a corrosion undercoating if the frame does not require replacement, if it does get approved for replacement they with recharge ac if needed, so many frames have been replaced, the dealerships know how to do it and have a good procedure for it. My frame was replaced last April and I've had no problems so far, I've put 20K on it already since the replacement, good luck and let us know what they say

 

Haha, the better you care for something, the longer it lasts, its that simple. The underbody of a vehicle is seldom looked at by most owners but it needs TLC just like the shiny side.

 

That frame is the perfect candidate to be coated in Por15.

If it were my truck I would coat the entire thing with it and undercoat every fall from here on out.

 

Charlie, you have to put yourself in the shoes of the cops that night. They knew of break-ins happening in the area and received a call of suspicious activity (you taking pictures), so they needed to rule you out as the guy they're looking for. They were only doing their job that night and did it well and professionally.

I will say that the police are around to keep everybody safe. At the time, you appeared suspicious to them AND the neighbors. Take it easy next time if you get questioned by the police... if you've done nothing wrong, just stay calm and you'll soon be on your merry way.

 

It wasn't at night.... It was in the early afternoon... Specifically, it was about 1pm. Translation: Broad daylight!

It's okay. I'm not mad or anything. I'm not even mad about that incident anymore. I more mad that I've had to greatly reduce innocent hobbies because I just don't feel like dealing with the cops...
