So I'm currently a senior in highschool and about to go into college, so I don't have kids that I need to haul around, and the novelty of having 5 of my friends piled in my truck going cruising has worn out as well. I really like the look of the access cabs, as well as the longer bed while still maintaining a shorter wheel base.

You can just "score" the spot weld and pop it off with a flathead doesnt havent to go all the way through you can see picsof how I removed some similar spot welds here:

Also I grew up riding around in the back of my dads access cab 1st gen and later on learning to drive stick in his 05 2nd gen so they hold nostalgic value to me as well.

Dont see people go smaller very often lol so i was curious. I did end up keeping my access cab.. i like the look of them as well. Much more like a proper truck vs the dcsb.

never underestimate a locked 2wd! I've seen them do some crazy stuff, anything is possible with enough throttle. (2wd motto)

Access has a 6 foot bed and fits in garage, Access cab looks better, Fat chicks don't fit in the back seat.
Seriously though, we empty nesters have zero need for a double cab. My 2014 Avalon handles those duties just fine.

No but my one of my 1st gen friends has one with the v6 and it can crawl up just about everything a 4wd can except for some steep inclines that have ledges.

I agree with all of these statements. I can still fit four or five girls but just chicks, most grown men won't fit back there.
