You took the hood off just to install struts? Never heard of someone doing that. I didn't. They install just fine with the hood on. If you were to install those coil springs instead of struts, I would understand, but with struts I don't see a reason.

But hood struts were a great mod. So very much worth it.

I've done a mod or two
For the record I still think it's mechanical
He had to get his ditch bracket to clear the snork so that made it easy to reach bolts.

^^^^ I had to remove my ditch brackets to make sure the snorkel cleared. Since I couldn't get my drill in there last time I tried to install the struts. So since it was Thursday night and I had till Saturday morning to get everything done I said screw it hoods coming off

Installed an ADD W1 catch can today. Not really where I wanted it but I sheared a bolt in the location I really wanted it. This might be better though incase I relocate the washer reservoir over the passenger side wheel well. We shall see what the catch can catches...

Yeah, I noticed how much the bed flexes when I had another cap on the truck. The window frame on that cap protruded out, so there was this rapid banging against the truck cab window. Luckily, I noticed it and immediately moved the cap back about 1/2 inch or something and it was fine. Never went off-road with that cap, but did with this new red cap. I still didn't notice any banging, but I think it is probably rubbing then, perhaps causing just as much damage as a bang-action. The top of this cap doesn't touch, only the sides. In any case, I appreciate you pointing this out. I'm going to adjust it soon for sure.

I've emailed them asking. No response.

Guessing it'll be similar to a normal LT kit though since it'll take custom CV shafts.

    So id guess 2 grand.

I would be a lot more interested if it was around 1.5k. I doubt it will be but I can dream.

Be nice if it was 1500..but it won't be. The UCA and LCA alone will be worth that or more. Add steering extensions, brake lines, and CV shafts. I still think it'll cost just as much as a 3.5'' kit. 2000-2400
