Let's See Your Dogs!!

Thanks and thank you everyone else. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be and just being in the house bothers me. Trying to remember the good times and trying to relax. So much good advice on her though I'm glad I found this place.

 

For those of us lucky enough to have a pet share our lives, losing it is like losing a limb. You will never be the same without it, will always notice the loss, and will forever feel like it is still there. But the feelings will dull over time.
As time goes on, you will be able to remember Oreo fondly, without the acute pain of the loss.
As the saying goes, " Better to have loved and lost...."
Our thoughts are with you during this hard time brother.

 

I'm not ashamed to say I lose my shit completely EVERY SINGLE TIME! The only mitigating circumstance for me is I've had multiple dogs for so long now so there's good listeners to come home to.

 

Heartbreaking, RIP Oreo

 

My scruffy, 8 month old buddy after playing in the dirt while mom gardened.

 

My boy Doc. He is almost 7 months old now.

 

My puppies are definitely growing fast. Getting to that cute fluffy stage, and now eating puppy food. All those puppy food pellets were in their bowl, but they managed to scatter it all over.

 

This puppy is from our last litter.

 

Holy cow! What are you feeding them lol. They are growing like weeds. Makes me want another

 

Their mama's bewb juice and Diamond Puppy Food.

 

Not sure if anyone here has a dog that get pancreatitis a lot but I have about $150 worth of animal enzymes left in package that we did not use. They are from "enzymes by Diane" if you look them up. This are what allowed Oreo to eat for the last while because they pre break up food so the pancreas can rest. Just thought I would throw it out there, they are free

 

Why I will always have two dogs. The one in the back got me through the loss of the pooch in the front, who passed 4 hours after this picture was taken.



The pooch in the back is now 12. Here he is now, with my GSP, who just turned 5 and will, no doubt, get me through the loss of the best dog I ever had, Bear, A Chesapeake, when his time comes.

 

A local rescue group could probably use them.

 

Wifey gets these for Belle as "Keep her busy treats". They're dried cow tendons, I cut them in 4" lengths....opinions?

 

I'd eat it.
