I was really referring to the fact that your mind went there in the first place. I'm not a creative thinker. I have a friend who was a chopper pilot in Vietnam, if he saw your handy work he would steal it!!!

Thats the cyclic used in the H60 variations and I'm sure it's used in other aircraft as well. It looks very tall on the manual shifter, I know the automatic shifter is shorter and would look better but not sure how you would activate the release button.

Nice handy work OP. Always wanted to learn to fly helicopters since I grew up watching Airwolf.

Hey OP...pls keep us apprised with the evolution of this project. Im an old gamer, and thats pretty much in the realm of "pretty fvcking cool" territory.

Id be interested in long term comfort. This is sub'd

I will try to put up a video of me going through the ranges. I will re-emphasize that it is very comfortable. And with 5 buttons it's like a Bop-It for relieving boredom, like the best bottle cap poping noise you can imagine

Very cool looks good! this is the first time I saw one as a shifter other then the one have. I used mine for the transfer case shifter in one of my old yota's I've had it for a long time.
