What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Nothing really except "pre-soak". I only use mine when it's real dirty or after the winter. Just breaks down the dirt and makes it a little easier to wash with the mitt. Extra step really (for me at least)

 

Yeah, but it helps remove junk that you would otherwise be rubbing into your paint with a mitt. I do a pressure wash, foam gun, pressure wash off the foam, then two bucket wash, rinse, dry. It's a pain in the ass, so I often just foam gun a pressure wash for a quick clean up.

My trucks paint needs major love right now. Just gotta find the time to work on it.

 

I still have the one on the drivers seat and other than being dirty is holding up great! They are good seat covers.

 

Those are nice. The pressure washer I bought was cheap as hell from HF. The nice thing is that it is not too powerful and won't damage seals, paint, etc.

Where can you get one of those attachments you screw on to the end of a hose that filters the water resulting in a spot-free rinse.?

 

That's really impressive. I have DOM weld on sliders from a different manufacture and have no expectation that I would ever drop my truck more than an inch or two.

 

No, the plasti dip came out all lumpy for some reason and I didn't overspray it. I think the nossel started to gum up. I needed up just debadgeing everything.

Yeah all 3 types performed fantastic under conditions that I will NEVER subject mine to.

 

Yeah the idea is to roll the tire over a rock and "set" the slider onto the rock.

No way I would have let them use my truck to make that video. They broke the rock before they actually broke the sliders.

 

I have a rattle in my dash that goes away when it gets warmer. Another member had their dash apart and noticed there is suspect bracket for the airbag line that might be the culprit. Once I knock the other items off the to-do list I'm going to take apart the dash and see if that's it.

 

And sometimes the rain ensures that that shit isn't graceful at all. Results of a ~3' ledge mixed with rain

 

Do any of you guys have or know someone who has a Jeep wrangler 97-06 who'd be interested in a never used rugged ridge tube bumper and trail cover?

I know this might not be the best thread to post this on but I'm just seeing if I have a chance of selling them on here

One of the reasons I got a truck: dirt adds character.

Seriously, I went from a car I was obsessive about cleaning to my truck and I haven't done more than dust it in the last 6 months. Saves time for tinkering around doing mods
