I really wish the 6MT was offered in the DCLB.

Yeah. Why aren't they, though? I don't understand why?

Extra parts, extra wiring, extra weight. All to accomplish the task of a lever that's operated for a couple seconds every month.

I lost virtually nothing on paper ($500)... but I had to leave behind my cbi front bumper, OME lift kit, rims, and tires. On the other hand I went from an access cab SR5 to my access cab TRD Sport!

Same here. I don't adjust mine that often and it's one less thing to wear out or break.

I'm actually getting about 1-2 mpg better in my manual than my auto got.

Got both. Sometime have to think for a minute before putting it in reverse and sometimes forget I have 6th.

It's a vehicle trade. You can do the math with KBB Used Car Prices.

    Lots of sail boat fuel
Manual all the way. After having my 2011 DCSB in auto , I had to go back to stick. Missed my 06 AC MT too much.

Put my ass in a 2017 OR DCSB MT, and not one single ounce of regret. Drives great and my 40 minute drive to work is now enjoyable again.

Driving the 6MT is fun...I look forward to driving it every day!

I'd say it's worth it to make the switch. You only live once.

    I absolutely love my 6MT.

I will say, I hate the ratio for reverse. Way to tall. Shoot, I'll even burn the clutch if I don't stop all the way when I throw it in reverse, when I'm trying to be quick and cut corners.

Also, I'm not thrilled about the power band in this truck. I don't always want to shift at 3500RPM+. Most my shifts are 2500RPM or less.

Gas mileage has been mediocre for strictly city. Im averaging 15.5-16mpg. (I'll admit, I'm impatient in the city)
    Highway around 19-20mpg.

If im hypermiling it, (cruise control sucks btw for best mpg), I can pull 27mpg highway.

Like everyone said, make the move now, you won't regret it.

Ahh, but hopefully it will! If TMC sells more manual we can keep the manual from dying out! Save the manuals! Automatics are for fat lazy Americans!

Oh wait, I'm fat... and lazy... and American.

I have never owned an Automatic in my life, never ruined a transmission and only had to replace 1 clutch well after 100k in 1 car.
