My bad. GMC Sierra. Not to mention all shocks (yes, all) failing and engine vibration and transmission issues. I had 10 times the issues he had but I kept my 15 for 35K mikes before GM gave me a new one.

Since I sell Toyota's (resale), I better keep my mouth shut (reliable). I'm very opinionated on such matters and don't want to come off as a fanboy.
You would be well served to research other options (Don't do it!)

I'm getting mine checked too. The howling is so loud now until you can hear it over the radio. I love my truck but this is ridiculous.

Oh yes, tons better.... I just went outside and checked it and there are no leaks anywhere. In fact, my undercarriage is so clean you could eat off it. I either need to go off-road soon or voluntarily surrender my man card...:(

Yeah, I'm about as OCD as it gets over my truck. It's always spotless or getting washed if it's not. This howl is seriously getting loud and I've been tracking it by my radio volume. Getting louder doesn't make me feel so good and I've seen rear diffs come out and it's not always pretty.

I hear you. This pollen doesn't help either but it is getting better.

I hope to get the diff issues worked out sooner than later. I have had no other issues at all with this truck and hope to keep it long term. My second gen was a good truck once I learned to live with its faults but this one is so much more refined.

Has it been getting louder over time? Mine started at around 300 miles and thankfully now at 1000 miles it is not any louder.

Yes, it is getting louder. Mine started at 1200 miles. I am now at 2400 and it seems like it has gradually gotten louder and now it's downright irritating. I track it with my radio volume and I can have it turned up into the high 30s and hear the diff very well. Non-JBL. I'll check it again tonight for a more exact reading. Something changed over the last 300-400 miles. It's officially loud now...

Did you put your truck back to stock? That's a nice truck. Once I accepted that my second gen, and a lot of others, had driveline vibration, I LOVED that truck. I wish I still had it, not because of issues with the 3rd gen but more because it was a great truck that was paid for. Paid for is always better. :) I also think it may have been just a tad tighter inside than my current truck. I have no rattles now but my second gen interior was like a tank. I sold it almost five years after buying it and it never had a single rattle or squeak. Great truck.
