How much rock can we haul?

    Short answer not very much.

    Look at the sticker on the door, it will tell you the load capacity of the vehicle. Subtract from this your body weight, and any accessories you added, oh and usually a full tank of fuel. Then that will give you the true load capacity of the truck (plus or minus 50lbs). Too many people drive around with these trucks overweight then complain that parts are breaking (Leaf springs, shocks, issues with differentials, gearing, etc).

    Or stop by a scale house and asked to get weight, they will tell you exactly on the load ticket what you can carry. and how it is distributed btw your axles.
