I thought it was determined that this isn't a possibility on the 2gen because it can't be moved out of the way afterwards?

Do you mean the end link cannot be removed out of the way afterwards? Sorry for the confusion on my end

No, the actual sway bar cannot be moved out of the way far enough to avoid contact with the suspension while driving.

I do not have a sway bar and have not tested this, but I've always heard this is why there isn't already a list of aftermarket companies providing them.

Where did you get those? I have been driving with my links just zip tied up and have enjoyed the difference. Didn't notice any clunks or noises so I don't think it's making any contact anywhere even though the bar is still there.

If you can figure out a way OP there will be tons of interest. I just don't think its possible with links alone.

From what I'm seeing(in photos) it looks as if the sway bar makes contact with the coil over or hub assembly. Am I correct in what I'm seeing?

I made those end links. Keep in mind, they are for a 1st gen Tacoma.

Do you have a 1st gen Tacoma or a 2nd gen Tacoma?

I just deleted my sway bar on my 2012 ACLB a couple of weeks ago. I noticed there looked like some space below and on either side of the radiator to try to just roll the sway bar out of the way. I discontinued both links and, to my surprise, when I tried to roll the bar, it made contact with the bottom of the springs. I could not find a way to simply roll it out of the way. If the sway bar were redesigned, there could be a way, but I just ripped it out.

I have not noticed a huge difference without it. I did make one sharp turn to catch a green light and the body roll was more significant, but eh....I am glad I deleted it.

If there WAS a way to pull off this quick disconnect, I would be the first in line though.

Somebody made a setup where you completely remove about 10" off 1 end of the swaybar when you go wheelin. However, it involves welding on the swaybar, which is not a good thing to do, since it's hardened steel.

As mentioned above, it's just easier to remove the sway bar. Let the nay sayers come in and tell me how I'm going to die in a burst of flames on my next turn - the bar has been off for almost 2 years of high speed mountain driving and off roading.

Sounds like you have zero disregard for others on the road driving around in you truck that has been modified to roll over if you so much as sneeze when driving.
