Not a problem! I was the same way waiting on mine. You did get the cleaner and degreaser right?

I do not have that, is there a particular one you could recommenced? My frame is pretty clean other than a tiny amount of surface rust. My original plan was to clean it with soap and water and then put on the por15 and then a few coats of rusto rattle can prior to bolting on rock sliders.

I am however open to other thoughts as I am no professional when it comes to prep.

They have their own degreaser and metal prep. The metal prep etches the metal for the por 15 to stick to. You can actually see/ feel the etching it did.

I might be interested if you're trying to get rid of it... did you grind down to bare metal before prepping? I was reading something that made it sound like maybe just wire brushing the loose surface stuff off would be good enough

Wire wheel the loose shtuff off and then degrease, rinse, metal prep, wash, dry, paint. Wear a full hasmat suit though because that shit stains :anonymous:

And if you needed some and didnt want to wait on Amazon then i can sell you some. Just offering to take some of the wait time out of it.
