    Should I be running higher than -8 to -10 psi at idle ?

    Also I have the Tial wastegate with the red spring (5.80psi) but the gauge reads 7psi maybe bad gauge (Glowshift)

    Where is you gauge sourced from? What does your vacuum read at idle?

    I am starting to think Jstand might have an unintended vacuum leak? Maybe pcv routing, or other?

    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    It prolly isnt a big deal for u since u dont have an ic, but if ur boost gauge read pre ic and ur wastegate boost line was post ic i could see that difference maybe...

    Gauge source is back of intake were power steering booster goes vacuum at idle is 8 to 10

    Wastegate is from turbo and gauge is t'd into back of intake were steering booster goes so that could explain that thanks :)

    Boost gauge should be somewhere post throttle body.

    Wastegate should be referenced from post TB as well. So that any pressure drops along the path to the engine will be negated, and the engine will see the "spring pressure." Which means the turbo might be spooling higher to make that pressure at the turbo.

    W/G sourced from the compressor will mean that you could see a lower pressure difference at the engine of 1-2 psi.

    All of that follows a good wastegate priority. Meaning how efficiently it can flow out of the wastegate to regulate the intended pressure. Wastegate first, then turbo = priority.

    Elevation will effect that.

    What tor said... The farther from the turbo you go, the more pressure you lose, ic will take even more, so u want to reference everything you can from the manifold to get the most accurate psi that is actually going into the motor if that makes sense

    If it is this gauge 8 to 10 inhg is vacuum leak.
    If -8 to -10psi that is like 20inhg which is normal for idle.

    Wastegate assisted turbo delete
    I have 20 inhg at idle and like 22 on decel for whatever its worth.

    20 inhg = 9.82308 psi :D

    Another update my check engine light keeps coming on I took it to AutoZone to see what it was it's the catalytic converter I need to replace ito_O
