So happy this is now on Netflix. Everyone should know this stuff. Raw food helped Oreo go from her death bed at 14 to another almost 2 more years and still healthy when she went according to blood work.

Did you ever think to try raw food?. I found it was cheaper than expensive packaged food also and there are many advantages one of they don't shit as much lol because there is very little unused ingredients. Just a thought

I have considered it. Canines naturally are primarily meat eaters (like me) but can scavenge for food (just think wolves). What do you feed your pup?

I think a 40lb bag of Victor Hi Pro Plus costs me like $45? So it's actually pretty reasonable.

I got back into Toyota from Jeep with a family 4Runner with a Taco added by the end of the year. One of the reasons is so Bruce could travel more comfortably with the family. I'd like to know if Sky has ridden in the back of the double cab? Bruce used to try and sit in the back seat of my '99 4Runner and '07 FJ, even though I didn't think he looked to comfortable with his front paws hanging down and resting them on the floor.

Depending how frequently you have passengers back there, you could remove the lower portion of the seats (only a couple easily accessible bolts) and built a wooden platform for him. Then he'll be really comfortable.

Will frequently have a 10 and 12 year old in tow. Was asking for the occasional ride when it's just me. I've seen others use a variety of methods from U shaped seat covers to folding down the seats, but so far on the 20 or so pages I've searched they've mostly been much smaller dogs.

Ah I gotcha. I have a very large greyhound (84 lbs) who is really tall with long legs. I haul him around in my 2015 Subaru Legacy with no problem. I have the Amazon brand pet hammock, and he's able to sprawl out just fine. I actually have a second one, brand new, just sitting around that I have no use for. If you PM me your address, I'll ship it to you for free.

Just put her down monday but here there's a meat farm that takes meat from the left over meat humans eat and they pre mix bags of it without 80% meat 20% bone and organs. They sell them all around as raw food for dogs and you just weigh what your dog would get. (I believe it was 2% body weight? Per day) Made it super easy to feed her. I would add an egg to it and a little bit of high quality grain but not much. Theres a guy around here who owns his own company and travels the world doing these diets and learning about them. I had him make a diet for my dog who had chronic pancreatitis and it helped her live another 18 months or so when I honest thought she was gone. Wish ibgave her a better diet years ago but I just didn't know.
Was pretty cheap too a month maybe 60-70 Canadian a month at most

Cool. I looked up this Darwin dog food company online that was referred to in that Netflix documentary. Their cheapest chicken based raw dog food would put me about $200/month since my dog will top out between 90-100lbs. That's using their recommended daily feeding amounts based on dog weight.
